Arriving on a saturday meant that there are no breakfast arrangements at the hotel. New Brighton seems to be shut early week and bank holidays so breakfasts had to be hunted down. Would be handy if the hotel could provide some info about local breakfasts and days of the week.

The flat was immaculate. Ken had thought of everything in the flat area very well organised. Instructions etc for everything as well. It’s just a short stroll into town centre. Communication from the owner Ken was fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble. Ken goes the extra mile to look after his guests. He even left us a lovely bottle of wine and chocolates to compliment our stay. Best customer care I ever come across via a booking on booking.com. Thanks very much Ken. Much appreciated. The unique building and the welcome snacks on arrival. The fact that the hotel was always completely spotless and our rooms were cleaned every single day.

The position of the hotel was great for us, the restaurant was lovely. When the staff found out it was our mini moon, they couldn’t do enough for us.

Lovely beach with amazing views across the River Mersey and into Liverpool. Friendly people and also plenty to see and do there with also a supermarket (Morrisons) and other shops including Iceland and Home Bargains and plenty of food outlets including Greggs and Subway as well as other cafes and places to have fish and chips. I would highly recommend New Brighton to others and I am already considering going back there again later in the year!

Great walk along the Egremont Promenade followed by a Mersey Ferry trip from Seacombe to the Pier Head. Alternatively, a walk along the New Brighton Promenade past Wallasey Village to Leasowe lighthouse makes for a pleasant stroll. Pop in to the Pilot Boat Hotel for a meal and a chat with the locals over a drink or two.

A really lovely place to stay, clean, quiet and comfortable accommodation. Just 3 minutes walk from two great pubs, both of which served food. Close to several restaurants and a car-free promenade. 20 minutes walk along the prom to New Brighton Marine Parade where there was entertainment including a theatre, bowling, multiscreen cinema, historical fort, bars and restaurants. A great place to visit for a short or medium break. Plenty of road parking space , unrestricted and fee 24/7 plus easy access to Liverpool.

New Brighton is a quiet residential town, a past seaside resort with just enough of the seaside resort aspects remaining to make it a great place to visit. New Brighton has its own tranquility, it just seems so quiet compared to other towns and cities and yet there is enough going on to make it worth visiting. New Brighton is on the other side of the River Mersey to Liverpool which is easily reached by bus, train or ferry.

New Brighton has a great feel good factor and the local people are very friendly. Lots of good places to eat and drink and fabulous views, parks and places to walk. There’s a sense of history and heritage which makes it special.
The perfect base for my sister & I to revisit our days growing up around Wallasey & New Brighton. The apartment was well appointed, homely, clean & very comfortable. Our host Ken, was always very obliging especially in preparing for our arrival by setting up the sofa bed for us. A very pleasant stay & rest assured we will be booking here again when we return for our 'family day' again next year. Thank you Ken.
I went for Christmas to be near our sons as I was widowed on 24 December 2022 and I didn’t want to impose on them. Perfect location. Just a few minutes walk from New Brighton station with a 25 minute journey to Liverpool. Great place to stay with everything I needed. Great if you want to to the bowling alley and the theatre (I didn’t go this time but I’ve been plenty of times). Really comfortable. Loved it.
Staff were really friendly, the room was a great size and clean and comfortable. Having our dog was no problem and didn’t cost extra! We were a few minutes walk from a coastal walk - wonderful sunset.
Live music stopped at 10 and all quiet by eleven in our hotel but other bars kept going. This is a lively place but they tell you this on the website! We loved the “good night out” vibe.
Lovely bright room overlooking the garden. Well equipt kitchen with the lovely added touch of freshly baked bread on our arrival and welcome top ups of butter, milk and jam. Tastefully decorated and well maintained. Julie was very friendly and helpful but also gave us privacy. A lovely walk from the bottom of the street into New Brighton. We will definitely be back again.
Very tidy and clean. The room was perfect for what we needed and wanted. Easy check in and very helpful staff. Cleaners were prompt and when asked would provide extra towels if needed. The bed was nice and soft and I couldn't fault this room. If you are after a nice hotel that's cheaper than Liverpool, this is the one for you
lovely old house in a lovely area of new Brighton. bathroom and kitchen were perfect for us. the. rooms were not warm so we were glad of the heater at night. Ken was so hospitable and left fresh tea, milk and a welcome bottle of wine. he was on hand with suggestions. he was incredibly flexible and accommodating.
Absolutely beautiful room. I’ve never stayed in a B&B before now. I’ve always opted for Hotels, but my partner booked this one for me and I do not regret it, whatsoever! Much better than a Hotel, lovely people and everything I needed! Really nice, quiet area too.
Property very roomy and well equipped for our stay. Apartment spotless and even given welcome treats on arrival. Owner left appropriate contact details if we had any issues, which we didn't. Lovely place and recommend if staying in New Brighton.
The location was fab, the staff brilliant, it was just fab to chill out all weekend..
Free car park...the meal was great...just a lovely hotel to stay, will certainly be staying there again..
Brilliant hotel in a great location. Breakfast was first class and all the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our first visit to New Brighton and we loved it.
Fantastic flat with amazing views across the Mersey to Liverpool. Flat ideally located to move around New Brighton and Birkenhead really easy to get to Liverpool
